Iain Service has been a valued client of R.E. Buildings since 2008 and he approached us again in 2010 when he was looking for several farm buildings.

Our family have farmed in Scotland since 1900. We now have a ring-fence block of 2,700 acres of grassland at East Knockbrex, where we have 550 Montbeliarde cows, milked twice a day, but with cubicles for 700.

We have invested more than £4 million in buildings and cows, including an anaerobic digestion (AD) plant, which allows them to process slurry to improve fertiliser while generating electricity and heat. R.E. Buildings supplied and erected a small cattle building for us in 2008. I was suitably impressed, so approached them again in 2010 to provide the milking parlour, silage, straights/grain store and cattle and young stock buildings on our green field site.

We were investing a great deal of time and money into our farm and working alongside R.E. Buildings with their knowledge and workmanship, from design to build made our project a great success.
